Sport & leisure
With its leisure opportunities, Nordrach offers many options for sport, fun and games.
Outdoor swimming pool
The solar-heated outdoor swimming pool (33.3 x 17 metres) has a
diving tower, a competition pool, a children’s paddling pool,
a flume and the “porthole” that is characteristic of the
Nordrach swimming pool, through which you can observe the swimmers
and divers from outside. The modern swimming pool, located in the
heart of the village is open from the middle of May until the
middle of September, and always has fresh water and a large number
of sunbathing areas. The swimming pool also has a children’s
play area. You can find more detailed information on the operation
of the pool during the season under "Current news" . You can
find the admission prices here (24 KiB)
.
Football pitch
Next to the outdoor pool, there is an Astroturf pitch, which invites you to play football.
Tennis
There are three tennis courts above the Huberhof residential area,
directly on the edge of the forest, which are hardly used on
working days in particular. Therefore, spa guests and vacation
guests have excellent opportunities for using these. Information on
booking the courts is available under tourist informartion
.
Mini golf
In the spa gardens, there is a 15-hole mini golf course with a kiosk.
Bowling
Down in the Hansjakob Hall, bowlers get their money’s worth in four bowling alleys (asphalt). As the bowling alley also includes a restaurant, hunger and thirst can be satisfied on the spot.
Water walking
In the Schanzbank relaxation centre, the water walking basin is popular. Here, Father Kneipp’s cures can be used precisely as prescribed.
Hiking
More than 300 kilometres of sign-posted hiking trails provide
enough variety even for a 6-week holiday. However, guided hikes are
offered almost every day for anyone who would rather hike with a
group. There are also special hiking weekends and hiking weeks for
hikers, the dates of which you can find under Packages .

Motor biking
Motorradfreunde Nordrach, a registered association, is at your disposal for guided motor bike tours. For contact details, see Vereine .
Play areas
Play areas are particularly important facilities for families,
which is why there are several of them in the village. In the
centre of the village, there is a play area for primary school
children in the schoolyard (above the spa gardens). A large play
area at the edge of the Grafenberg residential area with a climbing
frame, tyre swings, a table tennis table, a football field etc.
makes children’s hearts beat faster. There is also a play area
at the outdoor pool, of course.
Near to the forest parking spaces, there are also smaller play areas, near the Rautschhütte, the Kornebene and the Schäfersfeld – with fountains, a barbecue site and enough space to run around.
